Bespoke Concrete Pools

Our core work. Monolithic reinforced concrete shells built to BS EN 1992 (Eurocode 2), with cast steps, ledges and any shape or depth your property calls for. Finished in mosaic, large-format tile or commercial-grade liners welded on site.

  • Any size, shape or depth
  • Cast corner steps and perimeter ledges
  • Overflow skimmers & high waterline designs
  • Natural stone and porcelain surrounds

  • Ideal for compact London gardens
Indoor & Enclosed Pools

  • Indoor pool construction
  • Architectural pool enclosures
  • Year-round heating strategy
  • Integrated saunas & steam rooms

Find the right swimming space.

What you don’t see

The best pools look effortless.
Building them isn’t.

The finished pool is only part of the story. Ground conditions, the shell and the systems behind the water all need to work together.

Before you begin

Questions about your pool project.

What affects the cost of a swimming pool?

The site, access, size, construction, finishes and equipment all shape the scope. Mermaid’s project records show different specifications for different properties. Discuss your own site for a project-specific proposal; there is no standard price published here.

How long does swimming pool construction take?

A programme depends on the property and the work involved. The Tunbridge Wells concrete pool was completed within four months, but that is a recorded project outcome, not a promised timescale for every pool.

Do you design, build and look after the pool?

Mermaid’s process covers consultation, design and specification, construction, commissioning and handover. Ongoing maintenance and servicing are also available.

Can an older swimming pool be refurbished?

Yes. Mermaid’s Biddenden, Brenchley and Sevenoaks projects retained existing structures after assessment. Testing establishes what can be kept and whether refurbishment is appropriate.

Where does Mermaid work?

London and the South East, including Kent, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex. Tell the team where your property is when discussing the project.
